简介：撑船的汉子余木生与美貌的妃耦陶春生活在江西山区柴紫云河畔。木生为妃耦的秀美而自豪，陶春则终日为家劳累。当陶春想与表妹杏枝去看赛过水晶宫的龙泉洞时，木生却很否决，陶春想买件春秋衫，木生却说不如用这钱买头改进种小猪崽。陶春都是笑笑，表示随木生的意义。陶春一向有肚子痛的病，木生老是让她服用仁丹。一天，陶春疼得利害，杏枝将她送到县病院，大夫告知木生陶春是肝癌晚期，木生又惊又悔。出院后，陶春感应丈夫变了，处处要她做主，并表示之前老是陶春随自己，而现在自己要随她。木生问她有甚么心愿，陶春告知他想去龙泉洞看看。第二天，木生用独轮车推着陶春去看龙泉洞，陶春在欣赏美景的同时，欣慰有恩爱丈夫在身边。
