简介：妙莲（罗冠兰 饰）要跟随一个贩子到加拿大结婚，狠心地把中度弱智的儿子白痴辉（葛民辉 饰）留在庙街生活。阿辉幸得到密友阿炳（许志安 饰）及阿炳父（罗家英 饰）的照顾，妙莲才放心。雯雯（朱茵 饰）和哥哥是庙街卖翻版CD的小贩，与阿辉、阿炳是从小的好朋友，而且非常喜好阿炳。可是阿炳却暗恋着另一名女子Jody（蔡少芬 饰），并一心想要离开庙街，首创自己的奇迹。一次意外中，阿辉从楼顶摔下，大夫发明他脑中的大肿瘤。希奇的是，肿瘤切除后，阿辉酿成了能预知未来的怪杰。阿辉因特异功用大发横财。不久却从大夫处得知自己不久后还会变回弱智，非常害怕。雯雯抚慰，劝他应当做原来的自我。不久，阿辉又变回弱智，母亲毫不嫌弃，与儿子幸运的生活在一路。
