简介：一个希腊后裔的德国人Zinos（亚当·布斯多柯斯AdamBousdoukos饰）在汉堡开了间餐厅，名字叫“SoulKitchen”，最近遭遇了严重的财政危急，入不够出，难以为继。灾患丛生，Zinos还由于一次意外而腰椎间盘突出。而他的情感生活也有麻烦，他的女友Nadine（菲琳·罗根PhelineRoggan饰）是一位记者，决议到上海事情。他的弟弟Illias（莫里兹·布雷多MoritzBleibtreu饰）刚从监狱里假释出来，来到Zino的餐厅打工。由于身体问题，Zino只能雇了别的一个厨师Shayn（波热尔·尤内尔Birolünel饰），可是Shayn做出的新菜，却没有遭到老顾客们的欢迎，餐厅的收入日就衰败。而Zinos的女友也决议抛弃他，和一个在上海不期而遇的人在一路。问题多多的Zinos该若何咸鱼翻生？SoulKitchen能否继续营业？
