简介：麦提爽（黄子华饰）自小有贸易脑筋，奋发读书凭尽力于美国史丹福实现MBA课程，与何问天成为合股人，亦师亦友合作无间，成为美国商界气吞山河的狙击手。但后因不合致使问天醉酒驾驶跌入海中，过后，提爽黯然退出商界。但知问天的妃耦佘慕莲（李绮红饰）因此负债累累后决议回港照顾她。巧遇商界二世祖唐吉（许绍雄饰），逐为他打工赚取报酬代慕莲还债。但他爱耍个性拒做上班族，致使收入不稳，日夜遭财务公司收帐员林淼淼（佘诗曼饰）死缠烂打，两人钩心斗角，你追我跑，遂成一对欢喜冤家。直至提爽遇上同母异父的弟弟安祖连（谢天华饰），勾起当年被母亲抛夫弃子的惨痛回想，突然性情大变，逐步向安家上下开始爆发，一贯多计的淼淼也莫衷一是，看不清提爽的真实想法......
