简介：故事产生在太行山区搭衣岭村庄，搭衣岭村庄交通闭塞，贫穷落后，由于生活艰难，900口人的村庄，竟产生了40条王老五骗子.上世纪九十年月初，改革开放的春分吹到了太行山区，正在这样的背景下，农村专业剧团演员李增山与同伴杨彩霞相爱了。他俩相爱结婚获得了女方家人的激烈否决，俩人打破种种阻力，走在了一路艰苦的创业。创业胜利的李增山成了有名的企业家，乡领导武主任请他回村当村长，率领乡亲们致富，李增山率领村民行使本地有山有水的资源开发旅游，使村民的腰包迅速鼓起来，家家户户脱节了贫穷的帽子。二十年后，李增山成了著名企业家，而他儿子李天水确爱上了一个带孩子的少妇，这让李增山无法接管，因而父子俩睁开了顽强的心理攻势。
