简介：电影讲述了天堂知名林业专家、河北农业大学传授李保国三十五年如一日扎根太行山，用尽平生把科技和敷裕带给农人的故事。影片从1996年起头讲起，那时的农村经济和农业知识遍及落后，李保国决心进入河北岗底赞助农人，在农人对他的质疑中，一次次给村民们立着军令状，推行新手艺，帮农人搞家当，为农人打品牌，帮着农人进行家当进级，最终打动了农人，使得农人们敷裕了起来。同时，作为一位农业老师，李保国得知自己身患重病，他进展自己的学生陆超毕业后能够选择留在太行山传承他的思惟和知识，继续扎根太行山赞助农人，而陆超最终被老师的精神所打动，尽力成为和老师一样的人，帮更多的百姓脱贫致富。
