第3集

兰陵见虬以救民为本，甚欣赏，素将一切告知炀帝，炀帝马上收押世民，翌日处斩， 兰陵向帝求情，无补于事。虬独自入宫面圣，炀帝赏识虬之作风，特赐虬一机来救世民和自己，能冲过御前弓箭阵便可，兰陵甚为虬焦急，其实炀帝早叫箭手留情，虬只受轻伤，兰陵满面欢欣。三人相约狩猎，世民向虬说出意中人是兰陵，虬为友情将爱意藏心中，翌日更悄然离去，后玄感知悉此事，便暗中在酒内下药，再将虬收押，威胁兰陵与世民成亲，兰陵为顾虬之安全只得答应。大婚当日，兰陵婢女湘独自找世民说出兰陵答应婚事之因由，世民觉有夺他人所爱之嫌，即在炀帝前拒绝拜堂，李杨两家即时吓至目定口呆。
