　　夏洛克监听纽约警方的无线电，他得知附近海滩上发生了一起坠机事故，他立刻赶往现场。夏洛克发现了隐藏在空难背后的谋杀案，他和华生展开新的调查。夏洛克通过已有证据推断出凶手精心策划了这起看似天衣无缝的案件，同时他发觉有人故意破坏飞机，而这个人就是真正的凶手。夏洛克察觉凶案和走私可卡因有关，他找到了一名凶手，随后又顺藤摸瓜抓到第二名凶手。
