故事产生在遥远的1890年，邪恶的吸血鬼德古拉化身成为胜利美国企业家艾伦（乔纳森·莱斯·梅耶斯 Jonathan Rhys Meyers 饰）来到伦敦，他此行有两个目标，一是研究那时非常发财的电力科学，而是找到已经的敌人，向其施以无情的报复。一次有时中，艾伦遇见了名为米娜（杰西卡·德·高芙 Jessica De Gouw 饰）的年青女子，让艾伦感应震惊的是，米娜的长不异他已经死去的妃耦简直如出一辙，而米娜也坚信，自己绝不是第一次见到眼前这个名叫艾伦的陌生男人。就在艾伦一步一步实现自己野心的同时，他的宿敌——吸血鬼猎人范海辛（托马斯·克莱舒曼 Thomas Kretschmann 饰）也睁开了他的行动，这一次，他们能否分出胜负呢？
